K League 2 enters Round 16 with a clash between both rivals and title contenders FC Anyang and Bucheon FC 1995, while Gimcheon Sangmu return to action well-rested with a view to ending their streak of three draws. Elsewhere, Seoul E-Land look to continue their fiery form against Busan IPark, with attacking midfielder Bruno Oliveira the man with the potential to make things happen.

Match of the Round

FC Anyang vs Bucheon FC 1995

First hosts fourth this Saturday evening as FC Anyang line up against local rivals Bucheon FC 1995 with just two points separating the pair. Last week saw the Violets come back from a goal down to win against a ten-man Seongnam, thanks to Kim Dong-jin and Park Jae-yong second-half strike. It was Kim's first appearance since injury ruled him out in Round 6, scoring three minutes after entering play.

Bucheon, meanwhile, became the first team to inflict defeat on Gimpo FC, allowing Anyang to take the summit and bringing Gimpo's 12-game run to a halt. Goals from An Jae-jun and Park Hyung-jin ensured the three points.

Both wins see these clubs head into the weekend with eight victories each, the highest in the division with two of the best attacks having scored 24 and 23 goals respectively. When they clashed earlier this season, Anyang ran out 4-2 winners with Park Jae-yong scoring twice and An Jae-jun both on the scoresheet. Having both also scored last weekend, the current form may well lead to an enticing encounter on Saturday evening.

Team of the Round

Gimcheon Sangmu (Vs. Jeonnam Dragons, away)

After a week off last in the last round, army side Gimcheon Sangmu return to action this weekend, looking to pick up a first victory in four, following three consecutive draws. Positioned as one of the favourites for promotion, it has been a slower start than expected given the talent at their disposal, and their two recent goalless draws will not have done much to ally fears within the support.

That said, the team have recently announced the appointment of former Korea U20 and Seoul E-Land boss Chung Jung-yong as their manager with this weekend's fixture being his first game. With a well-rested side set to go up against a struggling Jeonnam Dragons, the likes of Kim Jin-gyu, Kim Ji-hyun and Kim Min-jun all looking to add to their three goals each against a defence that has conceded 23 times and show their new manager what they're capable of.

Player of the Round

Bruno Oliveira (Seoul E-Land)

Seoul E-Land have been in notable form of recent, dropping just two points in their last five. While it has undoubtedly been, a team effort, one player has stood out for the Leopards in that of attacking midfielder Bruno Oliveira. Bruno, as he known to fans, joined in the winter window alongside his fellow compatriots Roman and Renan, and has slotted seamlessly into the plans of manager Park Choong-kyun. With four league goals and an assist, plus two in the FA Cup, the 25-year-old has started strongly at his new home. He has also built up a reputation as somewhat a set-piece specialist have also converted two free-kicks this campaign. Bruno's last outing saw him curl a long-range effort into the top corner to help Seoul secure the three points again Ansan Greeners last weekend, and fans will be hoping he can maintain he high form heading into Round 16 against 2nd-placed Busan IPark.

Cheonan City kick things off this weekend as they continue to look for their first win of the campaign. They welcome a Gyeongnam FC side that returned to winning ways last week and will be hoping to further consolidate their promotion push.
